Daniel Galicia

Multidisciplinary Artist

Daniel Galicia is a multidisciplinary artist born in Mexico City in 1993 and based in Montréal. His practice moves between painting, drawing, textile, and performance. It explores the body, memory, and the migrant experience. Arriving in Canada at the age of 14, this displacement profoundly shaped his work. He graduated from Concordia University in 2018 and from École des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2022, developing an approach where identity and transformation intersect.
