Tristan Arsenault

Educator & Cultural Worker

Tristan is a Montreal-based educator, cultural worker and nonprofit professional. They’re also an avid tango dancer spending much of their time going to milongas, classes and events. They originally learned tango as a follower which was fairly rare in their particular school for a male-bodied people. Today, Tristan dances both roles and is a regular presence at milongas, queer tango events, festivals, and marathons. They enjoy volunteering their time to local queer tango projects and supporting initiatives that encourage people to dance outside traditional gender expectations.
